The main pool complex always had plenty of sun loungers available and even though it was in a delightful setting, it was quite basic when compared to other sites we have visited. Section 2. Descending the Ardeche Gorge on a kayak and navigating the rapids was the highlight of our holiday! The campsite is divided in two by the road, with an underpass. Every visit shows further improvements and the high standard continues to be maintained. - Pools that are not overcrowded and always beds available. Pitch There is one restaurant which we didn't use as it looked a bit too formal. It is in a delightful location surrounded by trees and mountains yet open enough to enjoy the sun. Highly recommend. I understand that it is a significant investment that needs to be paid for but it felt like going back in time. We will be happy to welcoming you again, L'équipe des Ranchisses Pitch Now having been there, most of the pitches are within easy reach of the main facilities, but the 'Les Terrasses' side of the campsite definitely has 'the' views and can be very steep in parts. Some of the highlights included: -Lots of activities for children: Multiple playgrounds, 2 bouncy castles, small children pool, children disco (our little one absolutely loved this) -Very nice pool area: We always found a couple of chairs for our family and there is a good mix of shaded and sunny areas. Even though our stay was during the peak season and the campsite was fully booked, it never felt oversubscribed thus adding to its already very relaxed and happy atmosphere.
