Our room was excellent we stayed for 4 nights en route to the Languedoc. For the one day when evening meals are not available, we dined out at Auberge de la Montaine, at nearby Pailerols. An amazing place to visit, a marvelous castle with a beautiful landscape. The second night we ate at La Roussiere - from the aperitifs, through to the cheese and dessert, it was also really delicious and we very much enjoyed meeting the other guests staying there. We were able to purchase local wines and honey before our departure which helped us carry on our memories on our return to the UK. Our spacious room was on the second floor with a wonderful view down the valley- ensuite are double wash basins, bath and shower, with a separate toilet (a thoughtful touch).
